France consists of an area which is mostly flat plains with gentle hills in the north and western side. The mountains are in the east and the southern side. The River Loire is the ‘longest river of France’ and flows through the continent before emptying into the ‘Atlantic Ocean’.

EXPLANATION:

France happens to be the ‘second-largest country’ in Europe. It has flat plains around the central part of the continent with plains in the north and west side. There are undulating hills and mountains in northern and western areas.
