First number of ordered pair is x-coordinate and we count it along x-axis.

If the x-coordinate is +ve, we move towards right. If it is -ve, we move towards left.

Second number of ordered pair is y-coordinate and we count it along y-axis.

If the y-coordinate is +ve, we move Upwards. If it is -ve, we move Downwards.
