Answer:
Multiculturalism has many positive and negative aspects. Multiculturalism is a combination of people several different races, religions or nation traditions. For me, multiculturalism is positive.
The first positive point is that. The United States is a big multicultural country, and I can learn about different cultures for my knowledge and experience. For example, in American culture, when people meet each other for the first time, they will give a hug or a kiss in this wan, people tries to be friendly. When driving on the free way you hear or see an ambulance, people will let them go first. Most Americans are enthusiastic and helpful because they think that is their responsibility. This is the first time that I have a very strong feeling that humans are kindhearted.
The second positive point is about Japanese culture. For example, Chinese don't do any act when they say "hi" or" thank you" to others, but for Japanese, they always bow to others when they say "thank you". This can help me to learn about basic Japanese etiquette. In fact, I can learn about more cultures that are different than I ever know before. That is why I think multiculturalism is positive.
The Last positive point is that, multiculturalism can create other new cultures. For example, if a Chinese man married a Japanese woman their child would have a free life style. In addition, the child would be smart, polite, conscientious, and vigorous. Therefore, multiculturalism can be positive in the future.
In conclusion, we now live in a multicultural life style. People who live in this world should open their eyes around the world, and not be a frog in a well. Therefore, that is why I Think that multiculturalism is positive.
