There are different sources of Noise Pollution:-
1) Industrial Sources :- Since, industrialization, there has been an increase in use of heavy machinery and tools. Though, they help our industries to run efficiently, but they have a disadvantage that these tools and machines produce a lot of sound which becomes unbearable.
2) Vehicular Source:- It can be understood with Traffic Jams and Vehicles Horn.
During Traffic Jams, we see that many cars Horn at the same time, which create a very loud sound, which is again an unbearable sound.
3) Loud Speakers:- Extremely Loud Speakers and DJ are harmful for your ears as your Eardrum can get damaged and can lead to permanent hearing aid.
4) Some Other Sources:- So some other sources of Noise Pollution are:-
a) Testing of Military Equipment:- May not sound anything to deal with sound pollution, but in reality, the places where these Military Equipment are tested, literally lots of unbearable sound is produced due to military firings.
b) Rocket and Missile Launch:- Another Noise Pollution Factor and not only noise pollution, but also a huge source of Air Pollution too...
How to control Noise Pollution?
1) Use sound-absorbing materials in/around military equipment testing, industrial and rocket launching zones.
2) Loud Speakers should not exceed normal human hearing range.
3) Efficiently managing traffic so that less traffic jams which results in less car horns.
