Identify the substances that are oxidized that are reduced in the following reactions . Mention the oxidising agent and reducing agent in each
(a) Sodium combines with oxygen to give sodium oxide
(b) Zinc oxide reacts with carbon to give zinc and carbon monoxide
(c) Lead oxide reacts with carbon to give lead and carbon dioxide.

(i) Sodium (Na) is oxidised as it gains oxygen and oxygen gets reduced

(ii) Copper oxide (CuO) is reduced to copper (Cu) while hydrogen (H2)gets oxidised to water (H2O)
