Answer:

by SAS

Step-by-step explanation:

AC = EC {GIVEN}

BC= DC {GIVEN }

angle ACB = angle ECD { VERTICALLY OPPOSITE ANGLE} .

Hence, THE GIVEN TRIANGLES ARE CONGRUENT BY SAS CONGRUENCE

Question :-

Identify the test of congruency by which the two triangles are congruent.

Answer :-

This two triangles are congruent by SAS test of congruency.

Solution :-

In ∆ABC and ∆DEC ,

Here,

Side BC = Side DC [1] (Given)

Side AC = Side CE. [2] (Given)

And ,

∠ACB ≈ ∠ EDC (3) [opposite Angles]

So, From (1) , (2) and (3) we get that

∆ABC ≈ ∆ABC

(by SAS test of congrúency)
