We can identify the type of training involved and categorise whether it is 'on the job' or 'off the job' training as follows :

  1. In the first case, it is called On-the-job training. We can further classify it as Induction training because new recruits are being trained by a professional in a real-work environment.
  2. The second is Off-the-job training. It can also be further classified as vestibule training. In vestibule training, the employee is trained Off-the-job but maintains connection to the job environment as well.
  3. The third is also Off-the job training. It can be further classified as Classroom training because that is where the employees are being guided properly.

Therefore, we have identified the type of training and categorised whether it was On-the-job or Off-the-job training.
