Above rivers are the non perenial or seasonal rivers in India.

East flowing rivers:

  • 1. East flowing rivers are longest rivers like Godavari, Krishna

  • 2. They formed delta and carry the high sediments.

  • 3. They culminates at the Bay of Bengal

  • 4. It much useful in farming in several states like Granaries of South India is Thanjavur. Kaveri is the flowing through this region.

West flowing rivers:

  • 1. They are shorter river than Eastern flowing rivers.

  • 2. They formed Estuaring because of low incline of slope and carried the low sediments.

  • 3. They culminates at Arabian Sea.

  • 4. Second biggest waterfall is the Jog fall which is in Shravathi river.

  • 5. Narmada flows between the Satpura and Vindhya range.
