hlo mate here is your answer.

New Delhi

It was10 square mile unwalled city, constructed on Raisina Hill, south of Shahjahanabad or Old Delhi

The city had Broad and straight streets.

The city had sprawling mansions set in the middle of large compounds.

Shahjahanabad

It was constructed as a walled city with 14 gates, adjoining a fort-place complex, with the river Jamuna flowing near it.

There were mazes of narrow and winding lanes and by lanes.

The city had crowded and congested mohallas and hevelis. It was expensive to maintain havelis and thus gradually they fell into decay and disuse.

thank you.

Answer :

The three differences in the city design of New Delhi and shahjahanabad are following :-

1. Shahjahanabad was a walled city but this was not the case with New Delhi.

2. Shahjahanabad had crowded Mohallas and mazes of narrow by lanes. These was not found in New Delhi . These were broad straight streets lined with sprawling mansions set in the middle of the large compounds.

3. New Delhi had better water supply , sewage disposal and drainage facility. It had trees and parks in ensuring fresh air and adequate supply of oxygen. But these was not found in Shahjahanabad.
