The correct answer to the question is given below:

Explanation:

  • When a learner moves from a high school to college, university or workplace, he experiences a drastic change in the environment he is exposed to and takes some time to adapt to the new environment. The various kinds of problems that a learner encounters includes:
  1. Difficulty in adjusting with new people. In the high school the learner gets exposed to companions or fellow-mates whom he had known for the past ten to twelve years. As a result of this long term exposure to them, the learner knows each of his companion's personality and character. Hence, he can interact with them quite freely and without any hesitation. In a college or workplace, all the learners are new to each other and so they feel hesitated to interact with each other initially. However, gradually they adapt to understand and interact with each other.
  2. Difficulty in interacting with the Professors and Mentors. Teachers in schools and high schools interact with students in a very informal manner. Hence, the learners find it easy to approach them. Also, the learners are accustomed to the school teachers for many years. But, in the college or workplace, the Professor or mentor makes a formal interaction with the learners which the learners are not accustomed to. Hence, it becomes difficult for the learner to approach them.
