Respecting Gandhi for who he is & agreeing with him on his policies aren’t always same. . Even Gandhi’s contemporaries such as Subhash Chandra Bose, Ambedkar, Jinnah & of Course Nathuram Vinayak Godse disapproved of Gandhi’s way of doing things. This is not about equating Godse with other tall leaders but just to show that there was noticeable dissent on Gandhi even back then. The whole Indian National Army(By Netaji), Dalit emancipation by Ambedkar were huge in those times and almost on par with Gandhi’s own followers. Obviously those tall leaders were not in sync with the Gandhian way of doing things!.
