Is natural selection the only process that leads to adaptation?
When natural selection is considered as a process, from my point of view, it is a process that occur as a result of all mutations, migrations, genetic drift, random mating. etc. But only natural selection is considered as an adaptation method, when the others are considered to be influences on the evolution of the species. How does this phenomenon become possible? Why don't those other factors contribute to the adaptation?
