Idli and dosa batter is steamed to get idili and dosa is it a reversible change???

Idli & Dosa Batter is in Liquid State, the Batter when Cooked at high temperatures turns out in to A Solid state and therefore this state cannot show The property of Ductility Like Metals do...When they can be Melted for reuse...and there henceforth your batter can only be used in a A to B direction only.
