Answer:

i=0.4 A

v=230V

P=?

by using electric potential power equation , we get

P=i x V

P=0.4 x 230

P=92 watt

it's power is 92 watt

I hope it will help you

GiveN :

  • Current flowing (I) = 0.4 A
  • Potential Difference (V) = 230 V

To FinD :

  • Power of the bulb

SolutioN :

We are given that Current flowing in bulb (I) is 0.4 Ampere, Potential difference of bulb is 230 Volt.

Use formula for Power :

⇒P = VI

⇒P = 230 * 0.4

⇒P = 23 * 4

⇒P = 92

∴ Power of bulb is 92 Watts.

Some Important Formulae :

  • P = VI
  • V = IR
  • I = Q/t
  • H = I²Rt
  • V = W/Q

Where,

  • P is power
  • V is potential difference
  • H is heat energy
  • W is work done
  • Q is charge
  • R is resistance
  • t is time interval
