1 mole gas contains 22.4 l
if 0.5 mole gas weighs 22g
this means 11.2 l gas weighs 22g
so, 44.8 l gas weighs 22*44.8/11.2 = 88g

Hey there!

0.5 moles of X -> 22g

1 mole of X -> ?

1 mole of X weighs = 22/0.5 = 44g.

We know that,
One mole of gas occupies 22.4 litres at STP ( We consider it STP as it is not mentioned )

Now,

Let the weight of gas at 44.8 litres = x

44g -> 22.4 litres

xg -> 44.8litres .

x = 44.8 * 44 / 22.4

x = 2 * 44 = 88g .

Therefore, Weight of the Gas = 88g at 44.8litres .
