$0.5x - 2.5 = 77.5 - 0.3x \\ move \: terms \\ - - - - - - - - - - - - \\ 0.5x + 0.3x = 77.5 + 2.5 \\ calculate \: the \: like \: terms \\ caculate \: sum \\ - - - - - - - - - - - - \\ 0.8x = 0.80 \\ devide \: both \: sides \\ - - - - - - - - - - - - - \\ x = 100$
