If 0.85 gm. of NH3 is dissolved in 100 ml of solution find molality. If density of solution is 1.2 g/ml ​

mass of solvent = mass of solution - mass of solute

mass of solvent = 1.2 x 100 - 0.85

= 120 - 0.85

= 119.15

now molality = 0.85 x 1000 / 17 x 119.15

= 0.41963911037
