Solution :
Let p(x) = 2x³-5x+ax+b
0 and 2 are the zeroes of p(x)
i ) p(0) = 0
=>2(0)²-5(0)+a(0)+b = 0
=> b = 0 ----( 1 )
ii ) p(2) = 0
=> 2(2)²-5(2)+a(2)+b= 0
=> 4 - 10 + 2a + 0 = 0
=> -6 + 2a = 0
=> 2a = 6
=> a = 6/2
=> a = 3
Therefore ,
a = 3 , b = 0
