32 is the answer.

Now How ?

Look multiply by 2 in first no. i.e. kn 1+1=2

2×1×1=2

2×2×2=8

2×3×2=18

soo

2×4×4=32.

Answer:

Required value of 4 + 4 is 32.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given values of 1 + 1 , 2 + 2 and 3 + 3 are 2 , 8 and 18. If we observe the condition, we can easily get that the assumed sum of numbers is the actual sum of its square, it means, if there are two numbers( let a and b ), then a + b should be a^2 + b^2.

For confirmation of the above reason: -

  • 1 + 1

= > ( 1 )^2 + ( 1 )^2

= > 1 + 1

= > 2            { which is equal to right hand side }

  • 2 + 2

= > ( 2 )^2 + ( 2 )^2

= > 4 + 4

= > 8          { which is equal to right hand side }

  • 3 + 3

= > ( 3 )^2 + ( 3 )^2

= > 9 + 9

= > 18         { which is equal to right hand side }

Similarly, required value of 4 + 4 should be ( 4 )^2 + ( 4 )^2 i.e. 16 + 16 i.e. 32.

Hence the required value of 4 + 4 is 32.
