34 is the value of 5, 9 as per the given sequence.

To Find:

The value of 5, 9.

Solution:

Here, the given sequence is in the form of,

x, y=x^{2}+y

The given question is a reasoning based question.

1, 1 =2

\Rightarrow 1^{2}+1=2

2, 3 = 7

\Rightarrow 2^{2}+3=7

3, 5 = 14

\Rightarrow 3^{2}+5=14

4, 7=23

\Rightarrow 4^{2}+7=23

That sequence refers the sum of the square of first number to the second number.

Therefore 5, 9 can be written as,

5,9= 5^{2}+9 \Rightarrow

= 25+9 =34

34 is the value of 5, 9.
