If 1/2 of 5 is 3, then what is 1/3 of 10?

since, 1/2 x 5= 3 
therefore, 2/3 x (1/2 x 5)=2/3 x 3        [multiplying both sides by 2/3]
so, 2/6 x 5 = 2 
2 x (2/6 x 5)=2 x 2                        [multiplying both sides by 2]
therefore, 2/6 x 2 x 5= 4
so, 1/3 x 10 = 4
