if 1/3 is subtracted from a number and the difference is multiply by 6 the result is 15 find the number

Let x be the number

(x - 1/3) x 6 = 15

6x - 6/3 = 15

6x - 2 = 15

6x = 17

x = 17/6

1/3 - x =15

x = 15 × 1/3

x = 5

Difference = 6 × 5

=30

So,the number will be 30.
