45

In the other numbers,

3+6=21

Taken as 3 × 7=21

2+5=12

Taken as 2 × 6=12

1+4=5

Taken as 1×5=5

In all the cases the sign of plus is changed into multiplication and the second no. is changed into the very next no.

So, 5+8=

=5×9=45
