Step-by-step explanation:

Let the number be x

1. 1/4, of a number = 1/4x

2. 1/3of the number = 1/3x

3. 15 greater than half of that number = 1/2x + 15

Putting these in form of equation we get

1/4x + 1/3x = 1/2x + 15

= 1/4x + 1/3x - 1/2x = 15

= 3x + 4x - 6x/ 12 = 15 ( taking l.c.m)

= 1x /12 = 15

= 1× = 15 × 12

= x = 180

Therefore the number is 180.
