If (1/4) of mass of a oxygen 16 isotope was used as reference unit mass then what will be the relative atomic mass of carbon 12 isotope ?​

1/4 of 16 is 4. So 4 is the base to find the relative at. masses for other elements.So relative at. mass for C-12 isotope will be 12/4=3. It is just like finding relative density where u consider the density of water at 4 degree celcius as the base.
