If 1◆6 =49 and 7◆8= 225, find the value of 3◆9.

Here we have two numbers, 1 and 6.

( 1 + 6 )^2 = 49

7^2 = 49.

Now,


7◆8 = 225

( 7 + 8 )^2 = 225

15^2 = 225.

So,

3◆9

= ( 3 + 9 )^2

= ( 12 )^2

= 144.

So, the answer is 144.
