Let the rational number be x Difference multiplied by 5 = = 5(x-1/6)

If 1/6 is subtracted = x-1/6

As per as the problem

5(x-1/6) = 2x

5x-5/6 = 2x

5x-2x = 5/6

3x = 5/6

x = 5/6 x 1/3

x = 5/18
