\large{\underline{\underline{\mathfrak{\green{\sf{Solution--}}}}}}.

\large{\underline{\underline{\mathfrak{\Blue{\sf{Given \:Here-}}}}}}.

 \:x+\frac{1}{x}=7.

..............(1)

\large{\underline{\underline{\mathfrak{\green{\sf{Find \:Here--}}}}}}.

\:x^2\:+\frac{1}{x^2}.

\large{\underline{\underline{\mathfrak{\Red{\sf{We\:know\:that:-}}}}}}.

\sqr({a+b})^{2}\:=\:{a^2+b^2+2ab}.

[Suaring both side of (1). ]

We get.

\implies.(x + 1/x )^² = 7^2.

\implies\:x^2\:+\frac{1}{x}^2+\:2*x\frac{1}{x}=49.

\implies\:x^2\:+\frac{1}{x}^2=\:49\:-\:1.

\implies\:x^2\:+\frac{1}{x}^2=\:48.
