AgNo3 +NaCl ----------> AgCl +NaNo3

this is done by using stoichiometry method.

from given : excess NaCl , means that there is no limiting reagent

therefore,we can say that

1mol AgNo3 gives 1mol AgCl

1mol AgNo3=molar mass of AgNo3 (108+14+3(16))

=170 g

1mol AgCl= molar mass of AgCl (108+35.5)=143.5g

then we can say that,170g AgNo3 gives 143.5AgCl-------------->(1)

now for, 1.7 g AgNo3,

÷100 by both sides,

therefore, 1.7g AgNo3 gives 1.43 g of AgCl
