Heya !!!

This is your answer.....

If
1 + 9 + 8 = 1.
i.e. one + nine + eight = one.

If you look at first digits of all the three....
O of one, N of nine and E of eight .. and the combine them ....
we will get ONE ....
which is the answer....

So.

2 + 8 +9 =
Two + Eight + Nine ...

Combining first letters ....
we get..
TEN.
hence ..
2+8+9 = 10.

hope u got it

10.

Here’s how - take the first letter of each spelled out number.

i.e

1 (one) + 9 (nine) + 8 (eight)

= o + n + e

= 1 (one)

Similarly,

2 (two) + 8 (eight) + 9 (nine)

=t + e + n

= 10 (ten)

Hence, correct answer should be 10.
