In case of polynomial ax³+bx²+cx+d=0
sum of zeros =-(b/a)

So in case of 2x³-x²-5x-2=0
Sum of zeroes =(-1)+2+m =-(-1/2) =1/2
m=(1/2)+1-2 =(-1/2)

So the third zero is (-1/2)
