If 1/f=1/v+1/u

Hey buddy here is your answer

1/f = 1/v + (1/-u)

1/v = 1/f + 1/u

1/v = 1/3 + 1/10

1/v = 13/30

v = 30/13

v = 2.307

v = 2.31 units

1/10 = 1/v + ( - 1/3)

1/v = 1/10 +1/3

1/v = (3 +10 ) / 30

1/v = (13)/30.

v = (30)/13

v = 2. 3
