Answer:

If 1 g of carbon contains x atoms

moles = 1/12

number if atom in 1g carbon is 1/12 x NA = x

here NA is avagadro constant

i.e. 6.022 x 10²³

moles in 1g Mg is 1/24

number of Atoms in Mg = 1/24 x NA

= 1/2 x 1/12 x NA

= 1/2x

so According to question..

the number of atoms in 1g of magnesium..

is 1/2x

Explanation:

now, given mass of carbon is 1g

and molecular mass of carbon is 12 g

therefore no.of moles in carbon =1/12

now when 1/12 moles of carbon contain x atoms

now given mass of magnesium is 7 g and molecular mass of my is 24

therefore moles of mg is 7/24

now 1/12 mole of carbon contain x atoms

so 1 mile contain 12x atoms

so 7/24 moles contain 7/24×12x atoms

7/2x or 3.5x atoms

hope it helps you.plss mark as brainliest
