=x2-7x-8 =x2-8x+x-8(by splitting middle term) =x(x-8)+1(x-8){by taking common} =(x+1)(x-8)_____eq.1 To find zeroes ,put eq.1=0 Then, X+1=0 | x-8=0 X=-1  |x=8 So zeroes are -1 and 8
