Given :- If “1” is a zero of the polynomial P(a) = x²a² – 2xa + 3x – 2, then x = ______

Solution :-

→ p(a) = x²a² – 2xa + 3x – 2

→ p(1) = x²(1)² - 2x*1 + 3x - 2

→ p(1) = x² - 2x + 3x - 2

→ p(1) = x² + x - 2

putting this equal to 0 now to find value of x ,

→ x² + x - 2 = 0

→ x² + 2x - x - 2 = 0

→ x(x + 2) - 1(x + 2) = 0

→ (x + 2)(x - 1) = 0

→ x = (-2) and 1 (Ans.)
