Answer:

Just put the value of x as (-1)

p(-1)²+(p²+2)(-1)+8 = 0

p-p²-2+8 = 0

p-p²+6 = 0

-(p²-p-6) = 0

p²-p-6 =0

Splitting the middle term

p²-3p+2p-6 = 0

p(p-3)+2(p-3) = 0

(p-3) (p+2)

So, P = 3 or -2
