If 1 is one of the zeros of the polynomial x2 - x + k, what is the value of k?​

Since x=1 is a zero fo the given polynomial therefore,

p(x)=x^2-x+k

p(1)=(1)^2-1+k=0    (Since x=1 is zero)

p(1)=1-1+k=0

     = k=0

Thus,the value of k=0.
