If -1 is the zero of the polynomials p(X) = ax³ - x² + X + 4, then find the value of a.​

p(x) =ax^3-x^2 +x+4

put value of x = -1

p(x) = a(-1)^3 - (-1)^2 + (-1) +4=0

= -a-1 -1 +4=0

= -a -2+4=0

= -a =-2

= a=2
