The answer will be 1. In order to find the answer place the value of zero that is (- 1) in the given equation

p(x)=ax³-x²+x+1

-1 is a zero of polynomial

put -1 in p(x)

a(-1)³-(-1)²-1+4=0

-a-1-1+4=0

a=2
