By applying unitary method,we can do this sum.

Solution -

We know,

1l= 1000mL

Cost of 1l oil = Rs 800

or, Cost of 1000ml= Rs 800

Cost of 1mL = Rs 800/1000

therefore ,Cost of 450mL =Rs 800/1000×450

=Rs 360

Ans = Cost of 450 mL of oil is Rs 360.

As per the data given in the question,

In the above question, it is given that,

The cost of 1 litre of oil is Rs.800

Here we have to know what will be the cost of 450 ml.

We have to use the multiply the cost of one ml with 450 to get the value,

Thus, the cost of 1 ml of oil,

1litres =1000ml

=\frac{800}{1000} \\=Rs.0.8

Therefore the cost of 450ml is,

=450\times 0.8\\=Rs.360

Hence the cost of 450ml oil is Rs.360
