ANSWER:

Given:

Cost of 1 litre petrol = ₹70

A.T.Q:

We know, 1 litre = 1000ml

So, 1/2 litre = 500ml ( \frac{1000}{2} ml)

So, 2 litres = 1000×2

= 2000ml

Now, 2500ml = 70+70+(70÷2)

= 70+70+35

= 140+35

= 175 (Ans)

Answer:

The cost of 2.5 liters petrol will be ₹175

Step-by-step explanation:

Here the cost of 1 liter petrol is given to be ₹70

We have to find the cost of two and a half liter petrol, that is, 2.5 liter petrol

We will use the unitary method

We will multiply 2.5 by cost of 1 liter petrol

cost of 1 liter petrol = 70

cost of 2.5 liters petrol = 2.5 × 70

= 175
