If 1<k<25,how many prime numbers are there which are of the form 6k+1.Please explain also

The answer is 16.

We will keep on substituting all the possible values of ‘ k’ and then will check them for being ‘prime’ or ‘composite’.The numbers which turned out to be prime are :

7,13,19,31,37,43,61,67,73,79,97,103,109,127,139 and 151.
