To find:-

The Energy liberated when 1 milli gram of U is completely annihilated = ?

Formula:-

Einstein mass-energy relationship,

energy =  \frac{mass}{ {speed \: of \: light}^{2} }

Solution:-

Given,

mass = 1 milli gram

 =  > mass = 1 \times  {10}^{ - 6} kg

we have known that, speed of light (c)

 = 3 \times  {10}^{8}  \frac{m}{s}

So, Energy liberated:-

 = (1 \times  {10}^{ - 6} ) \times (3 \times  {10}^{8}</u></strong><strong><u>)</u></strong><strong><u>  \\  = 9 \times  {10}^{10} joule

Hence, Option (a) is the Correct answer.

Hope it helps to you.
