2 {x}^{2}  + 3x + p = 0 \\ 2 ({3})^{2} + 3(3) + p = 0 \\ 18 + 9 + p = 0 \\ p =  - 27
2 {x}^{2}  + 3x - 27 = 0 \\  \alpha  +  \beta  =  \frac{ - 3}{2}  \\ 3 +  \beta  =  \frac{ - 3}{2}  \\  \beta  =  \frac{ - 3}{2}  - 3 \\  \beta  =  \frac{ - 3 - 6}{2}  \\  \beta  =  \frac{ - 9}{2}  \\
another root is -9/2
