if 1 watermelon and 1 apple is 19 kg and 5 watermelon +1 papaya +3 apples =94 kg and 1 watermelon + 1 papaya =22kg then find weight of the apple​

Let =》 watermelon=W,apple=A,papaya=P.

By (i),

1W + 1A = 19

By (ii),

5W + 1P + 3A = 94

By (iii),

1W +1P = 22

Now,

1A = 19 - 1W. [statement (i) ]

1P = 22 - 1W. [statement (iii)]

Then we will substitute the above values in [statement (ii)] .

5W + (22 - 1W) + 3(19 - 1W) = 94

5W + 22 - 1W + 57 - 3W = 94

W + 79 = 94

W = 15. •••[iv]

Put [iv] in (i),

1(15) + 1A = 19

15 + 1A = 19

A = 19 - 15

A = 4 ;

Hence, 1Apple = 4kg .
