Now we have to use the formula , 2b = a +c

Now substitute the given values in the equation

so ,  2          1            1
      ------  =  ------  +  ------
      x +3       x+2       x+ 5

solve the equation by takin L.C.M,

U get 14x + 20 = 16 x +30

thus x= -5

sidharthnair7: 2b =a+c . Which formula is this ???
reddi625sahu: the condition used when the terms are in A.P.
reddi625sahu: 5n?/
