Answer will be 22 when we apply the formula which implies as 1/2(n/2th term + n+1/2th term)
which eventually leads to 5 and 6 terms...and atq 24=1/2(x+1+x+3)
24 X 2=2x +4
48=2x+4
2x=48-4
2x=44
x=44/2
x=22
THEREFORE VALUE OF x=22

What is Median?

After arranging the given data in the ascending or descending order of magnitude, the value of the middle most observation, is called the median of the data.

Formula to find the median :)

Method : Arrange the data in increasing or decreasing order of magnitude. Let the total number of observation be n.

(i) If n is odd, then median

⇒ Value of \mathsf{( \frac{n + 1}{2} )\th} observation.

(ii) If n is even, then median

⇒ mean of \mathsf{( \frac{n}{2} )\th} and \mathsf{( \frac{n}{2} + 1 )\th} observations.
