if 10 g of a compound A is added to 8.4 g of another compound B , a residue C of 12.4 g is formed along with a gaseous product C .Find the mass of the gas released by applying appropriate law​

Let x be the mass of Gas released.

 \sf 10g + 8.4g = 12.4g + x

\sf 18.4 = 12.4 + x

\sf 18.4 - 12.4 = x

\sf   \underline{\underline {x = 6g}}
