Let the bill amount is = X
After 10℅ discount , the bill will be = X×10%
= X × 10/100
X/10
After 10% deduction the payable amount will be (X-X/10),
According this sum :---
X-X/10 = 7200
10X-X/10 = 7200
9X/10 = 7200
9X= 7200×10
X= 72000/9
X= 8000
Ans:--Original bill is 8000 ,
