Let the bill amount is = X

After 10℅ discount , the bill will be = X×10%

= X × 10/100

X/10

After 10% deduction the payable amount will be (X-X/10),

According this sum :---

X-X/10 = 7200

10X-X/10 = 7200

9X/10 = 7200

9X= 7200×10

X= 72000/9

X= 8000

Ans:--Original bill is 8000 ,

Original bill = 8000 rs.

Step-by-step explanation:

According to the questions,

Lets assume that, original bill is 100%

10% deduction to the original bill,

it means, 90% = 7200 rs.

                1% =\frac{7200}{90}

then,        100% = \frac{7200}{90}\times{100}

                 100% = 8000rs.

Original bill = 8000 rs.
