5x-10=3x+2

Solution :-

Let us assume that, the number is x .

So,

→ 10 less than 5 times of number = 5 * x - 10 = (5x - 10)

and,

→ 2 more than 3 times of number = 3 * x + 2 = (3x + 2)

A/q,

→ (5x - 10) = (3x + 2)

→ 5x - 3x = 2 + 10

→ 2x = 12

→ x = 6 .

therefore, the required number is equal to 6 .
